Runnng through ebay ads for duster parts i noticed something today. Theres a 1972 duster with two bids.....the first bid is foor 2500, the next bid is for 14,000!!!!!!. The car has only been listed for 2 days. Its a decent car, but nowhere near the 14,000 that has been bid. This looks like 2 buddies running up the bids on ebay auctions. Any oppinions?

In his listing he states the price he'd be willing to let it go for is $5,000,and someone puts a $14,000 bid in. It does sound fishy.

i do know a guy that i work with, that when his auctions get close to his reserve he'll have a buddy make a bid to get it there. Not my style and we all give him crap for it.

Yeah that does sound funny.......now watch it get relisted next week and the guy will claim "deadbeat bidder". You never know, maybe somebody doesn't like the guy and they're messing up his auction.
