Eddy Performer intake heater hose nipples

I bought a used Eddy performer intake and finally getting to install it.
I ordered the nipple kit Herb's for the SB 318 but they do not fit in the performer intake.
The bypass location looks to have a threaded collar/reducer already in place.
Ive tried to remove it with some pliers but its not budging. Any advice on removing without messing up the intake?

Also the the heater hose is either too small or too large for the intake.

Try cutting a slit in it and tapping it out with a hammer and screw driver.

cant help on size. but do put teflon tape on the threads then put anti-size compound on that. that way they will come out. i have had trouble on different sizes. mostly on swaps. once i machined a steeped nipple. working at an air craft co sure is handy. try advanced auto. i think a co called HELP! has some.
