Edelbrock 1406

Just a quick question about the Edelbrock Performer carbs: there are two ports on the front of the carb base, one is a full-time vacuum port, the other what they call a "ported" vacuum port. Which one should I hook my vacuum advance line to from the distributor?

vac advance from dist goes to the ported vac, that way your dist doesn't start advancing at idle.
