there are only very light handling marks / scratches from the factory and one very small area of porosity pock marks on the intake to head side, nothing to worry about...

other than this blemish I can only find minor , minor scratches from handling at the factory...

Those are nothing for me to be concerned about. Il probably paint it engine color anyway. Just checking to make sure a flange wasn't machined wrong or anything. Bought an Edelbrock years ago that wouldn't seal due to a poorly machined flange in one corner. Never had a problem with Edelbrock except that particular one
