This manifold is originally designed for early (64-5) 273 heads. It will work on 66 and up heads with 8 degree tapered washers and a bit of work on the bolt holes (a very little bit). This and the 66 and up D-66 are the only dual plane, dual quad intake made for LA motors. Some on FABO claim successful use on a 340 or 360, but these have the 273-318 small ports so I don't know. Looking for $400 plus the ride from Seattle Area.

There is an issue with the size of the area around the small ports, bit it is true that you could get a lot closer to the bigeer port heads. Of course better for a little opening from intake to head, as compared to a tightening at the same point. I specifically wanted small port heads for my current project as a boon to gas mileage and low end torque, but it's not like you have alternatives if you want an in-line 2x4 system in an LA motor. Offenhauser had one, but it's a single plane with VERY short runners and I think this is the best bet for street car where there is much more lower RPM use than a race car.
