Well as some may have seen I've been looking at possibilities on my 400 low deck build
thinking I have it figured out BUT WAIT I just discovered the E Street heads are $150 off
The bottom will be 383 forged crank - Eagle rods - KB240 piston - If crank is in spec on stroke + rod length + piston compression height will make them down in the hole .0265 presuming deck height is in spec. Edelbrock suggest either a .038 or .039 gasket so if I deck so the pistons are down .010 that will make around a .048 or .049 quench which should be fine ???
Having a 75CC chamber would put it at 9.785 or 9.761 compression --- PERFECT ------ I know the heads are only good to 5500 RPM which is fine with me especially on a big block
What do you think -- getting excited

What type of cam are you using? The E-Street heads are not recommended for any type of roller cam because of different valve seats. I had to upgrade to the RPM's for my hydraulic roller. Also are the E-Streets available in 75 cc chambers, or only the RPM's?
