I have a 360LA engine with with an Edlebrock manifold that needs new gaskets.

The Edlebrock gaskets are only for the intake runners. There are not gaskets for the china wall or for the back. I know gasket make can be used but I was just curious if gasket maker or the actual gaskets are better

Gray RTV on China Walls

You could also try the cork gaskets with RTV on the top and bottom sides. I just laid a thick bead of RTV for mine, I'm sure it will be fine.

Don't assume. Fit check the intake. Install the intake gaskets and lay the intake in place and check the gap. I think the corks are like 1/4"thick. Thick beads of silicone are not very structural and aftermarket intakes don't follow the china wall exactly so voids can form and they turn into an oil leak and you'll be back doing this all over again. Also check for the roll pin in the china wall, some intakes don't have a hole for it.
