I have a Edelbrock universal 12 volt ignition coil high voltage resistance 1.4 ohms will this work with the stock 318 Duster Mopar electronic ignition with a 4wire ballast or is this for points only I read a note says points only but the parts store says it will work I don't want to burn up my wiring

Edelbrock Coil Part #22739 1.4 OHM Primary Resistance

YES

With your dual ballast resistor in place , you should have anywhere between 2.0-3.0 OHMs of TOTAL resistance and 8-9 Volts at the positive side of the coil with the engine running

Perfect
