The blue field wire from the alternator was how the factory did it. If not that then just use a 12v source that turns on with the key (not the coil wire though).
Ok thanks.I might have to check my wireing,because my blue field goes to my supply on the ballast resistorand my ecu is tapped off of that.I'll just crawl under the dash and find a circuit.
The field wire is a single wire going into the alt and there are 2 wires coming out of the spade connector one going in and one coming out goes to the choke.
