Ok so in my quest for better braking I previously installed a gm steering pump.
This powered the hydro boost brakes.
Now this worked well.But the pump was not the answer. Reason being the belt would slip and pump was not that quiet.
So yesterday i scored off Craigslist a 91 MR2 electric steering pump.Get this i got it for $55 bucks.:blob:
here are some pics and yes it is mostly installed. Or lets say hooked up so i could test pump and the brakes.Have not driven it yet but they feel nice.Still have to weld up one bracket.This will be tomorrow as a buddy has my welder.
