Electrical Re-Wiring Question

This could also be a restoration question as well...

I am replacing my wiring harness with the EZ wiring kit and wanted to know what you guys used to protect your wiring harness after replacing the old one.

I noticed that the original engine compartment used a vinyl non adhesive tape\wrap and the passenger and truck comparts used a cloth type tape\wrap, this too was non adhesive.

I looked all over for non-adhesive vinyl tape. Finally broke down a bought harness tape from Eastwood. They sell it in two roll packs and it goes a long ways.

How much did you need to cover your wiring? how many feet did you use?

We used about one roll to repair the dash and a couple of accessory harnesses. Our wiring going to the rear (68 Barracuda) was in a braided sleeve that was dry rotted and we repalced it with Painless Powerbraid that we got from Summit. Used the Powerbraid in some other areas where abrasion was a concern.
