Email notifications

Is there a way to turn OFF the notifications to my personal Email? I don't want my email filled up with messages every time someone comments on my thread, or on a thread I have commented on. The 'inbox' and 'alerts' on the website are enough of a notice for me. I looked but can't find where to this. Thanks!

First click your name at the top and move the mouse to "Preferences"

Then un-click receive email notifications
