emblem removal

On the hood of my 65 dart, leading edge in the center is the round emblem fot the car. I got two nuts off but can't find how to remove the third.

Are you sure there's a third nut on yours? I just removed the emblem on a spare Dart hood. There were 2 small Pal nuts with the special spacers on the lower mounting holes. The top center stud appears to be just a locating hole for the stud. There is a small sleeve on the emblem stud to take up the space in the hole as the emblem stud is smaller than the hole. Hope this helps.
