Anyone got some pics of flattened/smoothed firewalls and modded inner fenders? I got this idea in my head for my future project to smooth/flatten the firewall, use something like a drag racing chassis with an engine bay delete, then work up metal inner fenders so the tires don't cake the engine with grime. I think it's been done. I'm taking welding classes this fall at the University. Thinking of turning a duster into a track/trans am style car with a little of every world -- street, strip, track. Just something to keep me busy and give me ideas until I get my mits on a duster.
