Engine ground strap question

Looking to install a engine ground cable, in to a 69 cuda, did this car come from the factory with a braided bonding strap from the block to the fire wall or a cable that is coated like a battery cable?

Not sure, is this a period correct resto?

My 69' Valiant has a braided flat cable from the firewall to the cylinder head. Hope this may help.

So did my 68 Dart. The factory used the flat braided cables into the 80's.

no not a perfect restoration, but found a site that makes the braided type for about 8.00 over the cost of a cable type for 20.00.
