Hey guys:
My car is a 1975 Duster with 318.
Sometime in the past , my car evidently had a small underhood fire, which damaged a significant portion of the wiring harness.
Most of it has been "repaired" with large quantities of electrical tape, but I need to just replace the entire shebang to be safe.
What I am curious about is, how far back year-wise can I go on the harness? My car has the EGR timer and speed sensor etc, which I don't need nor want as it just adds to the clutter.
I need to keep the electric choke and the dual ballast, and I can reposition the voltage regulator, Ign box and start relay back to the early positions as needed.
Thanks for any insight!
