I have a 74 dart swinger and i am putting a 360 in it but i was wanting to put fuel injection on it is it possible to go to a junk yard find a 318 or 360 fuel injected engine pull the intake and put it on mine and use it with a big cam or what all will i have to have like distributor,sensors all that stuff all im wanting is like a fuel injection but use my cam and ditributor if possible or cam i use my cam and the coil pack setup?? can somebody help me out here?? and its a big cam like 320 duration its a comp mutha thumper I also have a 727 small block on the rear of it any kind of info will help thanks
 

A cam like that needs a lot of compression (12:1) and a lot of gear (4.11:1+). The computer that controls the FI will need major mods to handle the revised timing events of the cam. The non-magnum FI units are more properly called Throttle Body Injection, basically a computer controlled carburetor that injects fuel down stream of the butterfly. They don't flow enough air for even a mild performance cam. Unless you're planning to drive the car a ¼ mile at a time, I recommend keeping the big cam in the box.
 
use a 1050 dominator and ya best have some money to make that cam work. sounds like the comp .660 272 int. 280 exh.at .050 make that gear 4.56 or better on a small block
 
scratch all that Ive got a tunnel ram now with 2 650s now just trying to figure the setup on the carbs
 
tunnel ram carbs like the sharp green pump cam, stock size squirters and you need to tie the secondary vacuum cans together, either with the tops that holley has or drill the lid out and tap it 1/8" npt and install an adaptor to use 1/8" vacuum hose. that will insure that they both open at the same time or if the carbs are dp's nothing needs done.
 
what are dp's what i have is 2 holley 1640 650's vacumm secondaries so do i need to tie the hoses together? and then where?
