engine location, need mount help

Long story short I pulled my 440 out of my 65 Dart and swapped in a 360. I need the rubber mount and the trans mount has me baffled. I'm using a 727 trans and the tail shaft is smashed up into the the floor pan support above the trans crossmember. The trans mount looks like it's too tall. ANyone have this problem before? Where is a good source for engine and trans mounts? I really need to get the engine in the right position so I can finish fabbing up this freakin car.

I'm having camera issues and the trans mount wasn't right with my 440. Does anyone know how thick the rubber motor mounts are?

Looking at this one that I had in my '69 Barracuda (440/727) at one time I'd say its about level with the cross member bolt holes. I'm sure this is a different year cross member but it worked. You can always start short and add shims if needed.

Trans mount I can modify, I need to find out the thickness (how tall do they stand) of the left and right motor mounts. Thanks

Get the right trans mount in and I think you can pretty much determine the engine mount shims.
You can use this TTI chart for engine location and that should get ya in the ballpark................
