I'm repainting the dash on my 1971 dodge dart and wondering if anyone has ever used the suspension epoxy paint. My dash is black and I want it to come out a bit flashier than the original flat finish, but not too much of a shiny gloss. I've used this paint on my suspension parts and feel that it might give me the finish I'm looking for. Any thoughts on this? It is being painted with canned paint because the dash is still in the car. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't see why you couldn't swing that. Be sure to prep it well, that's the Meat and Potato's when it comes to a finish turning out and holding up decently. You could also go to your local auto paint store and pick up a 2K spray can of a Satin Black or something similar. It's a two part formual (Paint/Hardener), they can mix you up any color and will be more rugged than anything out of a normal spray can.

Good luck
