Erson Cam Lifter Questions

Hello,

I have the opportunity to get a NOS Erson 420121 cam for a great deal that would suit my 360 project quite well, but the problem is that the seller does not have lifters for it. From my understanding on cam purchases, it is always best to get it as a set (cam and lifters). Is this true? If so, does anyone know where I might find a set of Erson hydraulic lifters for this cam? If they do not need to be Erson lifters, what could be substituted? Thanks in advance for the help.
 
You can run any NEW lifters with the cam. You just can't run old lifters that weren't used on those lobes.


I would recommend Rhoades variable duration lifters for that cam. You can get them through Summit racing.
 
cam is pretty small at 214 @ ,050...both intake and exhaust with .449 lift....

any name brand lifter will work fine.
