Sorry if this has been talked about - i didn't find anything from a search...

Wondering if anyone sells holley rubber parts that can withstand the destruction from ethanol (i'm talking the standard blends in my area which are ~ 10% ethanol).

I'm thinking primarily about the pump shot diaphragm - would one from a alcohol-only application work?

Thanks!

Ah, hooray for dethanol...not. Pretty much any carb kit you buy nowtimes will be reasonably resistant to the alcohol levels contained in current-day pump gas. The best mass-market kits are from Walker, and for a step up in quality from there I'd use a kit from Daytona; they make their kits out of particularly alcohol-resistant materials, and their "Daytona Float Valve" special inlet needle and seat is a particularly clever problem-solver design.
