I need help with finding or fabricating an evaporator drain tube for a 73 Duster. Originally it had a rubber tube/hose that went from the bottom of the evap housing in the passenger footwell area through the firewall. Mine was completely disintegrated. I have been able to find and purchase part of this tube/hose just for the engine compartment (not the part that goes from the evap housing to the firewall). Does anyone out there have a source for this? or have you fabricated one successfully? I suspect I will have to make one. the outlet on the evap housing bottom is just a short nub, around 1/2 inch OD. the original drain was held on with two screws or possibly push pins up into the housing.

I don't know if this will help you or not as I'm not familiar with the 73, but I needed a different fitting from the evaporator on my 72 and ended up using a lawn sprinkler 90* plastic fitting that I painted black and attached the drain hose to it...
