no didnt look like that. it was a spring supporting the back of the trany. it bounced around like a chey valve train. looks like the one you showed is much better.

I have a 65 polara 880 with a 440 soon to get a 505ci

. I've talked with retired CHP officers and they still say the best cars they ever had were late 60's 440 Dodges - not many perps got away!!

I have a friend retired state trooper who said they used Polaras with the 440 in the late 60s here in VA. Said they could easily peg the 150 MPH speedo.
