Anyone know a good source for exhaust / intake manifold mounting nuts and the triangle shaped holddowns. All my hardware except the studs on the head are missing from the previous owner. It on a 74 225 slant if that helps. Thanks J.R.

The triangle washers are difficult. They're available as reproduction parts out of Australia, if it comes to that, but put a parts-wanted ad here and on slantsix.org . As for the nuts, see here (whole thread).

It is very much worth your while to get the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and intake-to-exhaust junctions.
