Anyone with first hand experience with re-drilled axles?have you run them?Don't want opinions want experiences!

I had them on my 68 GTS 383 Dart and they work just fine with the BBP

Are you speaking of 4" axles to 4.5" pattern

One trick is to drill and tap for screw in studs instead of the larger knurled hole.

I've run them with no issues. If you are throwing any kind of hooking power at them, they aren't really a good choice.

Thanks guys,hadn't thought about stud styles(man some of the terms on this site lately)looking at around 450 horse street car(full interior)so about 3400 lbs.I think it'll be okay.
