For Sale is a nice pair of 1963 Chrysler 300 Long Ram Aluminum Intake manifolds p/ns 1947162 and 1947163. Intakes have been media blasted and are in very good condition. No carbs or linkage parts…just the intakes. These intakes originated from Owensville Motors in Owensville, MO.

$700.00 I will ship to lower 48 from St. Louis, MO.

I'd still love to have a set, but they are not in my budget. BUT, just to let you know those are not original to a 63. Those are 60-61. The later rams had shorter dividers between the runners.

I know this is gonna sound stupid......can you tell me if these are the LONG long rams or the SHORT long rams? There's a difference and you cannot tell it from the outside, but just with the runner divider length. There were two distinct sets.

Those are long ram intakes, the short ones are different looking Rob.

Those are the LONG long rams. You can tell from the outside.

See the "groove" that runs from plenum to flange along the top of the tube pairs? That is the divider line. The difference between these and the SHORT long rams is the divider length was reduced, effectively increasing the plenum volume. This allowed higher RPM and greater HP at a slight sacrifice in torque numbers.

The visible physical difference is the "groove" only runs about 60% of the way from the flange toward the plenum.

Price reduced to $500.00. I am selling these for my brother. Surely someone will jump on these at this price. PM me if interested.
