Figured I'd drop this here, $60,000/each, good for 1 race...... My cousin's business partner bought an F1 Team in the late '90's, IIRC He said it cost Him $1.5B to run the 2-car team, WITH sponsers for the season......
He was also partner in the company Shelby was contracted with to build the Series II, I was considered to jump in to review &/or manage the project, the progress/production was going excruciatingly slow. They were hand-building/welding each set of headers etc. on-site, with the proposed run of like 200 units, I couldn't justify quitting My job & moving to NV....if & when they were done, the company did **** like stretch limos & Hummers etc., not My bag......I do think what if tho' sometimes, it'd have been fun for a while..

We need to get Elon Musk to get involved. I bet he would have the piston cost down to $5,000 each with in a year and robots building the headers in an hour or two. lol!

I'd be very happy if we can turn Elon into a Mopar guy and have his sympathies of the "Mopar tax" & the lack of aftermarket support, with some new great stuff on the market at small block POS Chevy prices.

Give it time. We are only on day 8.
He will have a plasma printer in your garage and pay to print any part you want in no time. lol!
