Factory AC Will Freeze You Out

I know my old AC system in my 69 Dart works great with the RV-2 compressor and R -134.

Oops, you are correct, the condenser, not the evaporator. Hosing down the inside of the car wouldn’t be good….senior moment….

No. Some people hoard them but they ain't worth anything. R134a can cool just as good if you know what you're doing.

True that. The Classic Auto Air AC system I put in my Barracuda will freeze you out after a few minutes, then we have to run it on low.
