factory cassett recorder

Does anyone know where I can get the base that mounts below the housing on a factory cassett recorder? I scored a really nice factor unit that was mounted on a console (I got it for free) but I want to put it in my non-console car, and I know theres a base ( plastic) peice that enables it to be mounted directly to the floor tunnel. Does anyone reproduce this part? thanks

I thought I read it on here somewhere that they repop those bases? Is your cassette player gonna be for display? I was told that the radio is special that came in the cars equipped with the player, if you use a standard Mopar radio the cassette player won't work. Cool score though, I would love to have one even if it was for display :glasses7:

Yes it turns out you are correct, it is a special radio ( with a din plug on the back), and very rare for an A body. Yes, I plan on using it for display only, at least for now, and after doing some research, I found a place called 'Harms" and the gentleman says he has the peices to help me out so thanks guys!
