I am selling the stock factory Magnum heads I ran on my old 360 as I'm doing a new build with Edelbrock heads. They are 5.9L heads with casting #5300 6671. I purchased them from another FABO member back in 2010 or so, assembled them with Hughes retainers and springs and ran them for about 25k miles. The stock valve job they came with was sub-par as I had symptoms of bad valve sealing on one cylinder; these heads could really use a proper valve job with a decent seat cut and valve grinding but are otherwise in great shape (NO CRACKS). I am selling them complete with all 16 valves, Hughes Engines #1110 valve springs and their special Magnum retainers (I believe P/N 1278) which allow well over .550" lift; yes the springs are used but most of those miles were spent cruising on the highway and they never saw over 5500 RPM as that engine had a pretty small cam.

Located in Fort Collins, CO 80524, looking for $600 OBO. Would prefer to deal locally but I can ship them if buyer pays shipping costs. Pics to come...

I remembered the valve guides are also fairly loose so that will probably need to be dealt with, I'll take $450 for it all. I'm also willing to sell the springs and retainers separately for $120 + shipping.

Do you still have these? Was it the hughes 1199 kit that you put on them?
Thanks

Yes I still have them, I don't believe Hughes sold the retainers and springs as a kit at the time (~8 years ago) but they are definitely the 1110 springs and 1278 retainers.

How about $130 shipped for the springs and retainers? Honestly I'd recommend using new locks as cheap insurance these ones are pretty worn. I used stock Magnum guide plates, I have a full set I can throw in for say $10 if you want?
