Factory Starter Fasteners: 1 stud, 1 bolt or 2 bolts?

I thought I saw somewhere a starter for a circa '65 A Body using a stud and nut as one of the fasteners (probably the lower hole). Was I seeing things or is that, in fact, a factory correct installation? Seems it would be easier to install those heavy, heavy starters that way. Thank you.

You are correct, one stud and one bolt for the starter.

Yep. I'm sure they are 1 stud & nut & 1 bolt.

Many times when using headers, using two bolts makes it easier to get the starter in/out.

Agree with mopowers. Lots easier to get the starter in or out with headers if you use two bolts.

I couldn`t get my starter out w/o removing the header , even w/ no bolts !!
