For building an 11/10sec street/strip car, would using rebuilt factory components for front suspension, steering, and brakes work okay and be safe enough vs aftermaket parts?

My duster turns 11.0's,i still using the stock frontend, stops and handles no problem at all...

I run 11.0s myself and Im also running the stock frontend, including the drum brakes still on the car for now..

The stock stuff is adequate, the only drawback is that it is heavy so it requires more power to run the number that running the aftermarket suspension and brakes.

I run low 11's also with the stock stuff and even the 9" drums which I do not recommend on a street car unless you plan your stops.
