Faded grille on 73 Swinger:

Anyone got opinions on repainting a 73 swinger grille? picked this one up several months ago when the one that was on the car was broken (previous owner hit a dog) all of the tabs are great, everything's intact, but its got a dirty look to it, some of the grille is faded and almost black looking instead of the silver, any ideas on getting it looking better?

Black it out, paint it silver or body colour

Use a red scotch brite to sand the grill. It will get the hard to reach spots
