fan clutch or not

1970 Dodge Dart Swinger with the 340 engine without A/C. Does this car use a fan with fan clutch or does it use a direct drive fan with a spacer like my 69 Dart did? Any help would be appreciated! Ben.

I am almost sure that all 1970's used Non Thermal type clutch fans -very tough to find!
They are only 2 1/2 inches deep with the shaft.

My 1970 Duster 340 without A/C came with a non thermal clutch. :burnout:

..as Crate says 70 340 came w/ a non thermal clutch fan.
..the hayden is a short shaft jag unit and your fan will be too far from a stock rad.
..mopar have a quality replacement unit that is also thermal.(performance model)
..they typically spin at about 80% water pump speed and may run a tad warm on a hot day at the stop lights.
