fan problem

i just put a 68 383 in my 72 plymouth duster. it had a slant six k-frame,i used with k-member and just bought the conversion mounts. notch the k-member as well. i notice the fan isn't total center with radiator.it looks like it needs to go over a 3/4-1 inch over to be center. anybody else have this problem?

It's probably never been centered. Have you seen radiator fan shrouds that are offset to the passenger side. I wouldn't worry about it. If your running a stock radiator and shroud just make sure the fan clears the shroud on all sides.

All Mopars of this era are over towards the passenger side by 1 3/8-1 1/2 inches.

i see they have different fan shrouds. which one is the offset one?

By looking at them you can see all of them are offset. Which one you need depends on which radiator you have 69 back was a 22" round top style radiator. 70 and newer uses a squared off tank style which is 22" also. So it depends on what radiator and body your wanting one for.
