Fan shroud mounting

I have looked around FABO and cannot seem to find an easy way to mount the fan shroud. I bought the shroud after the the Rad was rebuilt and cannot seem to find a easy way to install it. I was trying to possibly make some kind of "L" hook or "J" hook but cannot seem to find the right stuff. Any help appreciated

I buzzed the fasteners section at Advance Auto Parts and went with some 1/4-20 J nuts that were thin enough to slide into the mounting locations on the radiator. I think the bolts I used were 1/2" long or so. The whole mess was less than $5.
