Fan Shroud on 72?

Was there ever a fan shroud with a Slant 225 on a 72 dart from the factory? Or just the V8 cars?

I am not sure; my 72 does not have one. I don't know how original it is after all these years. My 73 built in August of 72 also does not have one.

my 73 never had one. it was a 99% original /6 car

Yes i have had multiple 1970-74 Valiants and Darts with slants and all of them have had them. Most of them were little old ladys cars.

I have a 72 with AC and it has a shroud. It looks like it may be an aftermarket rad though.

My 72 Duster 198 non A/C car didn't have one. 24K on the clicker. I swapped in a radiator from a 78 Volare and used the shroud from that car.

The shroud was part of the HD cooling package. HD cooling was required on cars with factory A/C, part of the towing package, and available separately.

My Demon was originally a /6 with factory air. It has a plastic shroud. I rotated the shroud 180 degrees and it works OK with the SB V-8 that is now in the car.

IIRC the shroud came on bigger radiators.
