Fan shroud

This year I decided it was time for my Dart Sport to get a fan shroud but before I start I would like to see some of yours and I would like to know how you fastened the whole thing together.
My rad measures 22" X 19" and it is 2" from the fan blades (mechanical...driven by engine)

Did you ever consider making your own out of aluminum? Good way to insure that it fits properly.

If it involves welding, then it is not for me. I don't have a welder.

are you going to use electric or mech. fan? if it is mech. that easy start with some steel rod make the base that will attach to the rad. then make the round part for fan to fit in to. take for rods and hook the base to the round fan then make sheet metal pannels and fill in thethe spaces. yes i know sounds easy enough but it is not that bad

Definitely easier to use rivets/bolts & nuts with aluminum. Welding that stuff is expensive or requires a tig (if you have one).

I followed the instruction on this link to make my own out of fibreglass.
