fan spacer size

hey guys, im getting ready to install a 360 in my 71 duster

the engine came with a fan (no clutch) with a 2 3/8 spacer
this doesn't leave a lot of room in between the fan and the radiator (as a matter of fact, I would need to install the fan first because with a radiator in place the fan wont slip over the snout of the water pump)

is there a standard size or a calculation on how to get there?

If you are running a shroud then get the fan 1/2 in 1/2 out. No shroud, get 1/2" gap from the radiator.
