Aloha guys an gals. I have been a A-body mopar guy since the late 80's. owned many dusters and 2 door valiants (soft spot for them). Sold a few I regret. A few years ago I bought a 67 2 door signet from the upper 48 shipped it here and spent a bunch on things that I NEEDED (lol). Been sitting on the 67 and a recently purchased 2 door 66 valiant. I wish I was closer to the mopar world, believe it or not I recently tried to sell the 66 valiant from AZ, rust free, rebuilt 8 3/4 with 3:91 caltracs, rebuilt 1968 340 never started yet, 4 speed, new tti headers and exhaust (not installed) new aluminum radiator, Kelsey hayes disc brakes 4 piston on front, power brake conversion, all new stainless brake lines, new fuel tank and sender, bucket seat A/C car. I was asking $3000. I have had no takers. No rust holes at all, no body damage. I felt the engine was worth that at least. People here are E body guys. I was so shocked that I am going to finish it and make some people wish they bought it. Even may put my F1 procharger kit on it (yup $7000 with all the upgrades, my wife thinks it cost $700 I love her). just want to say Hi and get motivated to get my priorities in order.

Welcome to FABO! When I was in the Navy I was stationed in Oahu, bought a Chevy Vega that a fellow military gal had shipped over from Cal, rust free. EVERYWHERE I went with that car, people tried to buy it. But they won't give 3K for your Valiant, that is crazy!! Sounds great, please post pics. I'm taking my family to Maui for Christmas, what island are you on?

Im on oahu. Also no dragstrip here, closed some time ago. I could ship 67 to test it at another strip on Maui or the Big Island but I cant bring myself to put a cage in it.

Plenty of horsepower armed, get it running first. Welcome to FABO. California, same way: lotsa racers, no drag strips.

Hey, welcome!

What you need to do is get the 66 together and running, then rent it out to fabo members when we. One over for holidays, LOL!

Oh, and we need some pictures!

Welcome aboard, take a look around and enjoy the great tech's and folks gathered here.
