Fast and Furious cars to be Crushed

-
I wouldn't say that unless you've either driven one or raced one. You will be quite shocked. The newer one suck so that don't count
My buddy drove a GT-R. He is a dihard Mopar guy. He said it was faster then the Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari ,Viper he drove the same day. It was uglier but faster. I would rather have a nice old hemi car myself.......Thank you.

His problem was he was commiting fraud trying to sell the cars saying he had a florida title. Not only a dumbass but a crook on top of it. He got what he deserved.

It's not about the cars, it's about his attempt to commit fraud, bastard belongs in jail.

Hate to break it you guys but a GTR will hand the vast majority of cars/owners their asses in a race; be it drag, time, auto cross, road racing, or top end (think the silver state race). The GTRs came twin turbo and are SUPER easy to upgrade because they have a massive aftermarket following (in Japan that aftermarket following is the same as Chevy here). Now here were talking about 408/416 that make 500-650 and be street able, these can 1000hp+ and are very street able, hell at 1000hp is a daily driver, I know because I owned one with a 1000hp at the wheels.
my Stealth will hand most cars their asses at only 400 hp (think low 4 second 0-60).

But I still wouldn't have the nerve to call it a musclecar like they're calling these Skyrines.

Depends on tastes/model. I don't really care for the r-32/r-33 I had/really only the R-34s I think they look pretty nice! Though the what they charge for an led tail light conversion is called rape.

Mine made 1000hp at the wheels but you have at 400hp would not reach the topend speed mine could reach.

I looked at a gtr last week at the nissan dealer. I liked the wheels and body mods. It was rated at 565 rear wheel horsepower. Kept reading till I got to the bottom. 98 k . Pulled out my wallet and slowly leafed thru my ones for a minute or so and shook my head and put my wallet in my pocket and headed to the parking lot. I thought the fat salesman was gonna have a heart attack trying to catch up to me. Till I got to my 96 s10. lol

All went to the new owner when I sold the car (all the receipts along with it to verify to new owner and for warranty work with the block). I was in the process of building a motor to make 1500hp at the wheels. I wish I kept the car over what I paid for it and what I sold it for are two vastly different things, I made a KILLING on that deal
The fastest I had the car up (it still had plenty power but ran out of room) was 201 MPH. I think I still have a couple of pictures layin around that I can post up if needed.
Mine was on the rarer side. It was a 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec 2 Nür edition, 1 of 750 made and the last year produce. The same model car they had two rarer models the M-Spec Nür (250 made) and the rarest one them all was/is the Z-tune models of which only 19 were ever made.

a stock 1995 Stealth on my forum reached 173 mph (gps verified).
I expect my car with it's mods would bury the 290kmph speedo. Would I try it? No.

edit- ok, based on believing your last post, you win.

The max on the speedo went to either 320 or 330 kmph. After I slowed to make the turn I started speeding back up but I pasted a deer or something (at the speed I was going ~140mph what I pasted was just a blur) I thought too myself/realized that I dont want to die today so I backed out of it and cruzed the rest of the way at 65 mph, that sure felt so god awfully slow after the speed trip.:burnout:

....what is the difference in these cars and the bike I once owned that was a kit bike? The bike had no vin when purchased. I had to go to DMV with the MSO's for the frame, trans and engine in order to get a VIN. The title said Specialty Constructed vehicle or something to that effect. Is it that there is no way to get a MSO for the pieces of the car?? I was told by a bike builder that even if you don't have the MSO paper work you can still get a title, just have to provide the numbers off of the frame etc.? Or did this builder inhale to many paint fumes over the years?? How do people register kit cars? I know some of this stuff is federal, and every states laws are going to vary some. Just kinda wondering.....

MSO is a "Manufacturer's statement of Origin". It's issued when the vehicle is built, and the title is not assigned until the vehicle is sold. The title has to wait because it could be sold in a state/nation different from where it's built. The MSO only exists once...when it's manufactured.

File the numbers off your frame and then you'll know what the guy in the article did, and why he had trouble.

This guy was the first to read the whole article, and he hit the nail on the head.

Skyrine, got a good laugh on that one LMAO. Dude got what he deserved, when you make being a crook that obvious, your gonna get bit. Some people think their slick hustlers, think no one is onto their glib, underhanded tactics. Riiight...

Kinda like this?
(Taken from a news article in Nov, 2004)

Last month Boyd Coddington's shop was raided by State of California agents. Are they looking to shut down the hot rodders? No, more like shutting down an illegal tax avoidance scam. It seems that some people are faking titles of kit car Cobras and other kits and misrepresenting them as real to exempt them from smog laws, registration fees and California sales tax. Cali wants their money.
