I have been looking at FAST and Aeromotive fuel kits for an efi engine that will be turbo'd.

I downloaded both instruction forms and one is copying their copy from the other-the diagrams and warnings are identical in places.

What I'd like to know is, whats the difference in quality.

The Aero kit goes for $639.95 and is rated up to 1000hp turbo'd with 600lbs/hr

The FAST kit is $832.95 and is rated up to 700hp turbo'd

Is there a massive difference in quality for the price difference??

Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,

B

The FAST kit IS the same as the Aeromotive kit. It's made for FAST by Aeromotive. The only major difference is that the FAST kit is anodized black and includes the fittings for all the various pieces.

A lot of your fuel system companies do private label parts - the only companies I'm aware of that sell both racing ECUs and manufacture their own fuel pumps are Bosch Motorsports, Delphi, and Holley. The non-OEM ECU sellers usually get their fuel pumps from Walbro, Aeromotive, or Essex, and (sometimes) put their own labels on them.

Have you looked at MegaSquirt? My friends dad got in contact w/ Tom Nelson at Nelson Racing Engines and Tom recommended the Mega Squirt over FAST. It is half the price also I think, just another possible option... Good luck

why not stack 2 of these http://www.gsl392.com/ they would be good for over 1200 hp cheap and way more realiable than any aeromotive pump I ever owned you can buy the aeremotive reg filter and gague for under 200 . the gsl 392 is a very common pump among the turbo guys
