As it turns out I really like this FBO unit. Ballast resistor on the firewall is there for entertainment purposes only.

How does that system work DD.

It’s basically a HEI module with a rev limiter in a nicely milled aluminum housing that is the same footprint as a Chrysler orange box with a 5 pin stock type connector. It’s 12 volt and needs a 12 volt 1.5 ohm coil.

So you can plug it into your factory 5 pin connector?

You have to give the blue wire to the factory connector 12 volts all the time. Just need to bond ignition 1 and 2 ( blue and brown ) together or jump the ballast
