Fender Tag ?

I have an extra plate behind my Fender Tag on my 71 Duster, does anybody know what this is? this

From what I've heard it's an assembly inspectors tag that is sometimes left, sometimes removed, sometimes hidden behind the fender tag. I've got one on my 70 too. I painted the fender tag the current color of my car and left the inspection tag the original B5 Blue. They were all black when I got the car.

It is an inspection tag. You car was inspected by A and 11 - whoever they were.....

There were multiple types of inspection tags used at various times at various plants.
