found a 58 dodge panel for sale. Where would the fender tag be? looked on both fenders(under hood is VERY dirty) found nothing.

My 54's Town Panel is on the drivers side firewall upper corner, it's oblong oval and thin.
I just looked up a 58 truck and it has a different hood. I didn't see the vin tag on the firewall. Have you looked on the driver side door jam above the door latch pillar?

I have not looked very good. It is still in a bldg for upteen years,full of dirt and whatever. Going back in a few days for further inspection .
I'll bet it's on the drive side door jamb.
When i looked yesterday it looked like that is when dodge started placing them there.
