fender to firewall brace on Duster

I saw a picture of a bracket going from the fender to the firewall to add to the structural strength. I had these on my Shelby and Mustang GT. What are these parts called and where can they be purchased? What models got these?
 
I'm guessing 74 and up Dusters. Don't know about others but I have a 74 and 75 that have them.
 
I wonder if this was address a problem that developed on earlier models or was their an increase in hp from the 340 to 360 that required this modification?
 
My 74 Dart Sport has them.

I believe they were added for extra support in case of a crash.
 
Yep, got'em on my 75.

Well at pull a part I saw them on 2 74 valiants with 318's. And then some on a 73 340 duster also at pull a part.yanked the 340 ones for my dart.
