Few question on my DEMO

I have a few things Im unsure of. Im tearing apart my scamp and cleaning up the engine bay. I have a few things in the way. The speedo cable can I just cut that at the fire wall and but a new one? This one is corroded anyways.

Also when I took the fenders off on the passagerside there is a wire that come s out the side with something on the other end what might that be?

Also is the linkage that comes off the gas pedal going to work with my RB 440?

Fender wire is probably for the antenna

The speedo cable just unclips from the speedo...takes 5 seconds. As for "linkage that comes off the gas pedal"....no idea what you're refering too. There should be a cable running from the pedal bell crank to the carb/intake.

No motor or trans. This is just hanging there I can tell it comes off the gas pedel its probably 2ft long maybe.
