fiberglass floor pans

Like someone else said, just use some 18 gauge steel and make them. Obviously this isn't a concours restoration, or you wouldn't have been contemplating doing them in fiberglass.
 
The problem is the $$. $150 a side for replacement pans is out of reach right now.
But looks like I'll start saving and do it right. Thanks every one for your help :D

Is this a concourse resto? If it isn't you can buy some 18 gauge material for around 30 bucks, form it, fit it and weld it in. I'm in the process of doing just that right now to my wife's Mercury Comet.

As said, floor pans are part of the structural integrity of the car. When welding them in you need to rosette weld the pan to the sub frame as well.
