fiberglass hood repair

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO PROPERLY REPAIR HAIRLINE CRACKS ON MY FIBERGLASS HOOD. THEY ARE STARTING TO SHOW THROUGH THE PAINT.

not an easy fix, you really need to grind all the stress crack areas down and re-glass it, grind it smooth, bondo, and paint.

You need to use fiberglass matting, not cloth. If you use cloth, it will just crack again. Matting is for structural repair, as cloth is for cosmetic only.
