I am installing a GlassTek Hood on my 1969 Dodge Dart. Many of the scoops have 2 supports within the scoop. What do you buy or use to add these two supports? Anyone know where they can be purchased. See pictures of the hood scoop supports I am referring too. Thanks

Never ran that type of scoop before but have seen them with 3 supports. Those scoops grab a ton of air and some have said they actually slow the car down some.

On the Max Wedge scoop I had on my 65 Valiant years ago I made a support for each scoop using 1/4" all thread rods and 1/4" steel fuel line. I sammiched the scoop and hood with large diameter 1/4" fender washers to spread the load and sammiched those with 1/4" lock nuts.

Quite some time ago I bought this "Stantion Post Set" from AAR Quality Fiberglass. Currently shows as "not available". But you can see what is needed in the pics.

Would a connecting rod fit in there? Might be a fun look. :D Tap one little hole in the piston end with a button head allen screw.
